Dr. Artem is a Chiropractor in Wasatch and Summit counties who specializes in functional manual treatment, active rehabilitation and diagnosis of movement dysfunction. He uses cutting edge manual techniques combined with individually tailored active exercises to help his clients reach their highest goals.
While practicing in Carlsbad, CA, Dr. Artem ran a successful, referral based practice treating all ranges of athletic performance. He has been treating athletes from high school to professional level. Dr. Artem has experience in treating golf club pros, volleyball players as part of the medical team at AVP and surfers at the U.S. Open of Surfing since 2016. Dr. Artem has extensive Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS) training in addition to his focus in biomechanics. He has special interest in injury prevention and performance for athletes and people alike.
Dr. Artem grew up in the northwestern region of the Black Sea on the Crimean Peninsula in Sevastopol, Ukraine. He immigrated to Chicago, Illinois in 1999 where he completed his formal education and received his degree in psychology with a focus in behavioral research. He then earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic in Southern California University of Health Sciences and continues to pursue innovation in his field.
Dr. Artem enjoys spending his free time in the great outdoors; climbing, hiking, biking, snowboarding, surfing, but his most favorite activity is spending time with his wife, Katie, and their two children, Siena and Nikolas. His greatest passion is to continually to learn, discover, and teach others.
